I saw this bath gadget on Amazon the other day and was intrigued. Most baths have some sort of overflow “safety” drain or hole that is located on the top of the lever that stops your drain when pulled up. Now, while this IS good for safety, it is horrible for getting the water level of your bath tub anywhere near full.
In order to combat this, I’ve previously tried to caulk the holes shut with plastic water seal that comes in a tube. While semi-effective, there are times when you actually WANT the overflow drain. So this Deep Water Bath Plug looks like it might be great for the purpose of temporarily plugging up the holes. It’s basically just a piece of 4″ diameter vinyl with suction cups that fits over the drain hole.
