This holiday soap dish is a little more classy than the usual Christmas bathtime goodies that you might have tucked away in the closet. But it will nonetheless bring holiday cheer into your bathroom. This is made by Lenox from their ivory bone china that has 24K gold accents along with the pattern which features a tied gold ribbon with green holly leaves. I believe they also have matching fingertip towels, lotion dispensers, tissue boxes, and tumblers which is rather nice if you want to get more bathroom items in the same pattern.

Found these rather cute Snowman Bath Towels from BedBathStore (through Amazon) the other day. While the design is very simple with just a border design of a few silver stripes and a depiction of a snowman looking upward in a winter scene, it’ll be sure to brighten up your bathroom for the holidays. The towel features the phrase “I Love Winter” on the border as well.

This bath towel measures 27″ x 50″ and I believe they have a coordinating shower curtain as well.

Forget those old boring shower hook that currently hold up your curtain… this festive set of hand painted shower hooks will brighten up your bathroom. There are three different designs: a santa, snowman and a snowflake. They come in sets of 4 each for a total of 12 shower hooks. It’s time to start thinking about sprucing up your bathroom for those inevitable holiday guests that come parading into your house. Saw these decent looking “Holiday Jacquard” towels from Lenox the other day. They come in either Tree Green or Holly Red and feature either a tree or holly motif along with embroidered gold accents. Show of your holiday spirit in your bathroom with these - I think they are more special occasion guest towels than regular use bathroom towels since they’re fancier. They measure 11″x18″.

I have to admit that I thought this Sony Weather Band Shower Radio looked a bit weird on first glance - it just doesn’t look like a typical shower radio. However, I think there’s a lot to like about it. The higher price may drive away a few, but you get a lot of features and functionality.

First, the tuning and clock is digital which is great. I hate fumbling with a dial and trying to figure out stations in the midst of getting all sudsy. The quartz synthesized tuner has AM, FM, TV (channels 2-13) and weather band with excellent reception. You actually strap this on the shower head as opposed to sticking it on the wall with suction cups or glue pads like others. If you don’t want to hang it, just leave it flat on the tub surface.

While they may not be the best towels money can buy, I saw these Pinzon Bath Towels on amazon at about 60% off which is pretty good. Each set of two towels is 590-gram, 100% cotton and measure 54×28 inches. I think they are fairly plush but have the “shorter” loop terry material so they aren’t as shaggy as some other ones.

The towels have banded hems and there are coordinating washcloths and handtowels available. They come in Celery, Navy, White, Butter, Flax and Sky colors. The absorbency issue with towels like these seems to be greatly a matter of personal preference - take two people and one will tell you the towels are nowhere near absorbent and the other will say they’re perfect.

If butterflies are your thing, then this shower curtain by Tommy Hilfiger might be the perfect thing to brighten up your bathroom. This Butterfly Kisses novelty curtain is made out of 100% Cotton for extra durability. The rainbow colored butterflies add a playful look, and they have a matching coordinated set of bedding to go with it if you desire.

Unfortunately, it looks like it’s currently out of stock (it wasn’t when I checked awhile ago). Looks like it’ll have to go on the wishlist for now!

These great designer bath toys by Boon are non-absorbing so they pick up less of the mildew and funny odors that are common with kiddie bath toys. There are 15 differently shaped and colorful flat cutouts that float, 3 squeezable balls and 2 scrubbies. Both of the latter are smaller so they can be easily grabbed by your baby. They’re recommended for 6 months and older.

With all the talk about global warming and finding better fuels and cleaner methods of obtaining them, it’s no wonder companies want to jump on the bandwagon left and right. And that applies even if it’s just a name - this Origins Clean Energy cleansing oil probably won’t do anything to stop the glaciers melting, but it’ll definitely do some good for your skin.

It’s a Olive, Sunflower, Sesame and Safflower oil based cleanser that also contains Kukui Nut, Macadamia, and various citrus aromas with Vitamin E. A bit pricey for the small 6.7 fl. oz. bottle.
