If this jar of scrub from Origins looks a little too much like cocoa, that’s because it’s one of the main ingredients. Their Cocoa Therapy line is meant for all the chocoholics out there and this body buff contains extracts of pure cocoa along with cocoa shells and even cocoa butter. All this cocoa goodneess is rounded out with apricot seeds and walnut shells for extra scrubbing power.

The 8 oz. jar is a little pricey, but it might be worth it if you’re a bather into the whole chocolate deal.

Some more bath toys for tots… here’s a nice collection of eight different brightly colored sea creatures that can snap apart and together. They are also squeezable so that your kid can fill them with water. The creatures available include a whale, fish, turtle, seahorse, octopus, coral and snail, all with smiley faces and eyes.

It comes in a vinyl pouch fishbowl with a nylon mesh that can be used for storage. This pouch actually has suction cups in order to allow it to stick to the tub. They’re manufactured by Sassy, who make a good selection of baby and children’s toys.

I’ve come across a number of different bath products lately that are for kids - basically to make the chore of rinsing the shampoo out of their hair easier. There are a number of different “deflectors” they sell, but this one called Flo by Boon looks kind of interesting. It actually attaches directly to the bathtub spout, unlike some that I’ve seen that are handheld and looks sort of like a dustpan.

If this Turtle Rug doesn’t tickle your aquatic fancy, then I don’t know what will. This is a large 37 x 26 inch bath rug depicting a swimming green turtle. It’s both machine washable and 100% cotton. I think it might be great for the kids, or for that turtle loving friend of yours. Interestingly, I think this sold by Target, though I first saw it on Amazon.

We continue on our Valentine’s day bath time extravaganza. Here’s an interesting fragrance from Origins called “Shedonism”. That’s right, instead of having a hedonistic Valentine’s day, make it a SHEdonistic day with this new fragrance.

It originated from the idea of the Tahitian “society of she”, where the Tiare flower is worn by women to represent their “availability”. The fragrance itself has the Tiare flower fragrance along with jasmine, mandarin orange, bergamot and basil.

More Valentine’s bath items to consider for your sweetie… this gift box of heart shaped soaps is made by Pre de Provence. There are 2 Rose-scented soaps and 2 Camelia scented soaps, each of which are 3.5 ounces of Shea butter enriched and triple milled.

It’s a rather nice little box of soaps and the price is decent for this quality type of soap… might be a good part of a gift rather than the whole shebang though. They have several different varieties and gift box configurations for these heart soaps, but this one is a square box of four.

For any dudes looking to get your gal some bath gifts for Valentine’s Day, you might want to consider some of the lovely packages over at Origins.

The idea with this bath pillow is similar to the Jelly Bean Bath Pillow we talked about earlier, except this one is inflatable. This one is made by H2O, and as I said before I’m not such a big fan with the inflatable bedding or bath items. In particular, I can’t stand the inflatable beds offered… these ALWAYS seem to leak air and make turning over in your sleep a difficult and noisy situation.

I’m a big fan of tea tree oil cleansers but haven’t tried the shampoo just yet. This Rainwater Tea Tree Oil Shampoo from Nature’s Gate is supposed to be a really good natural, non-medicated type of dandruff shampoo.

Besides the essential tea tree oils, it also has a coconut oil base and extractions of goldenseal, mint, chamomille, nettle and rosemary. It comes in an 18 ounce bottle, and i know they also make a matching tea tree conditioner, which could be a good idea as I’ve heard that this type of natural shampoo may dry out your hair more than usual.

I saw these interesting shower curtain hooks from Tommy Hilfiger the other day on Amazon. This is from their collection of bath coordinates that match with the Annapolis bedding line. They look almost like buttons and are actually rivets (like the ones on jackets that have their moniker and signature red white blue type flag. There are 12 in each pack and they’re the sliding type with open end wire so they’re easy to hang on the shower rod.
