I’m always amazed at the huge variety of bath soap out there. Gone are the days of the standard white rounded bars of soap to wash with. Now you can get your pick of different textures, colors, scents and shapes.

Here’s an example of some interesting soap from Lush. This bar chunk of Sea Vegetable Soap looks more like turquoise or marble than soap. I’m actually interested in this one because its a bit less “girly” than some of their other offerings. It features natural sea salt and seaweed as extra softening and cleansing agents, and is fragranced with lime, lavender and pine. It sounds pretty refreshing. Unlike a lot of other soaps that are mostly homogenous blends, the soap is mixed in a rustic fashion so that you get parts of the soap that have more of the salt and seaweed in it.
