I have to say though, their portions are so huge that if you just get the chicken tarna plate for about $8 after tax, my wife and I split it, and we both get an amazing dose of delicious food for ~$4 a person, so I would say, that though it is not the cheapest food in town, and it may have been cheaper in the past, it is probably one of the most delicious, unique, and reliable places where two people can be quite satisfied for less than $5 per person.

Me and my friends used to eat there regularly for years. after the Iskenarian family tragedy , everything went up. and I rarely go.

They do have the tastiest stuff -but I go to RoRo's or Al Wazir for about 2/3rds the price.

Their chicken is great and the addition of tabuleh and rice is a real treat! Quality of meat is still better than any other place you'll find!

I agree with your latest Zankou review 100%. Prices are up, the chickens are overcooked and the meat is dry, and the W. L.A. place has been disappointing.
