I wish companies would email me a little earlier than like the day before an event - but anyway Friday June 6, 2008 is National Doughnut Day so Krispy Kreme is giving out a free doughnut of your choice. I guess I shouldn’t complain about them telling me about it since I’ve already gotten free doughnuts from them earlier…
Actually, I think someone might have told me about it - I just got busy and forgot.
I know they actually give out free doughnut samples once in awhile (when the light is on?) But for free doughnut day, I think they’re giving out not just the plain glazed. Not that it would matter to me - I still like the original ones best.

We bought some yesterday and I just had one with my morning coffee.
I made sure to check the price though because I remember your previous post about them possibly not really being cheap eats. I think it might be the famous California high cost of living making yours high because we got 15 of them for $4.99 which isn’t bad at all.

I wish we had one around here. We have a few stores that sell them though. And they’re still pretty good when lightly warmed in the microwave. Makes me wish I had a doughnut now!

OMG there is one of these crackhouses by my apartment. If it was not almost 100 degree in nashville I would walk to supplement for the calories Im going to consume. I guess Im going to have to drive. ::calculatinggasconsumptioninmyhead::

Hi! I have been reading your blog only a few days, but I’ve already read back to september 05. It’s very good and informative, but I am now jealous of you Americans, you seem to have lots more choice when it comes to fast food places (also, I know of none of the regional brands or supermarkets you review…). Up here in Canada (montreal!), we don’t have nearly as much mexican… which i love for the spicy. I just may start a canadian food blog, because I adore cooking and the food network, and I’ve always wanted to blog. You’ve been a great inspiration, I’ll keep reading you!

I am so sad, every Krispy Kreme around me in Nor Cal was closed a year ago… not enough sales?
I miss my warm gooey doughnuts.
