I lived in Japan for 5 years and had a lot of home made yakisoba during that time.
Now I live in a small town in the US and I do not have any other way to eat yakisoba other than the the Maruchan version.

This version may not be great but it is a good relpacement if you can not eat yakisoba from any other means. And it does not have to be soupy if you drain the excess water after cooking before you add the seasoning packet

I think you're being charitable rating it a 3/10. Considering that it is being sold as yakisoba, it should at least look or taste a little like it. It does neither. If you were to give me a bowl of this stuff and ask me what it is, the last thing that would come to mind is yakisoba. I've had U.F.O. By Nissin, labeled in Japanese for the home market, but available at Japanese food stores. It actually is recognizable as yakisoba. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a quick yakisoba fix.

To Whom It May concern:
Desired to inform you that the food products which this company produces is out of this world. We make the purchase of numerous containers of Yakisoba when we go grocery shopping. I have tried other foods of this nature and often times get in trouble with my spouse for trying your competition. I will continue to purchase your product.

I went to the Maruchan site today to find the list of ingredients, none found, I wonder if feeding your kids MSG in large amounts is grounds for kid removal?

The sauce on these is terrible. The taste is like if you had the cheapest ramen noodles imaginable in a dishwater thin beef broth. Then you knocked over a can of coke and spilled some coke in your ramen.
I love ramen but these are awful. I laughed at the cabbage comment though I thought the same thing when I ate mine. The packaging grabs you in the store though doesnt it? Colorful, big, shiny.

Stumbled across it at Marcs for .66 each. I could have bought out their stock with 25 dollars.

Not having it before, I'll say it was tasty to me. I'll be eating them for a while.
