Just stumbled on your wonderful site, and just last night I was at the Dollar Store and found these... HUZZAH!
I have loved them since childhood, but felt they were usually overpriced, this however for $1, is a fine deal for a decent amount.
Sort of like Munchos, which to me are Bugles in cloud form, I adore them, but it's a premium cost for, even though it's good, what is just a chip! So every once in awhile I break down.
My next challenge? To learn to type wearing them on my fingers
I'm also going to try using them in stuffing as an experiment. Or maybe in meatloaf?

The dollar store Bugles dont taste the same as the regular ones in the stores and gas stations. The ones from the dollar store always taste less greasy and more stale...they are too crispy (dry wise) and the flavor is slighty saltier...anyone know why??

@frank - oh cool, I totally remember putting them on my fingers too. Once on your finger, they also performed admirably as a nose picker.

@julia - you're right, but don't feel bad about the PITA - at least you're not asking me where you can buy Hefty Interlocking Plates. If I had a can of spam for every ...

I used to love Bugles when I was a kid. I would put one on each finger and pretend I had long fingernails like one of the ladies in my mom's canasta club. Eating them was fine, but definitely a secondary pleasure.

(And also, not to be a PITA but just because I'd want someone to tell me, I believe it was the Rutles who are the Beatles parody band, and the Iowan in me is compelled to confess that the Corn Palace is in South Dakota.)
