Spiral Earrings Fig 4aFrom here on out, you are mostly going to repeat previous steps and techniques. Start off by making a second spiral the same way you did the first. You can use a shorter piece of wire since this is going to be a smaller spiral. You can do one or two coils less than you did the first larger spiral. Now, before you bend the wire up, insert the wirewrap loop of the first spiral INTO the coil of the smaller one. It should hang freely… if it doesn’t then you may need to widen the space between the spirals slightly using chain nose pliers or your fingers. Check out Figure 4a to see what I mean about putting the loop into the spiral…

Spiral Earrings Fig 4bNow, that the loop is inside the spiral, continue the same procedure as before bending the wire at a 90 degree angle and making a wirewrap loop. But this time, you don’t need to slip another bead on if you want before making your loop. You CAN put on another bead if you want actually, I just haven’t done it here. I thought about it afterwards and it might actually look good to have a bead at this point as well. You can experiment and see…
