Ok so I have to admit that I’ve always associate the Welch’s brand with either jam, jelly, or soda. But I never really bought their bottled juices before. Maybe because they never seemed to go on sale.
Anyhow, the other day I tried a bottle of their Organic 100% Concord Grape Juice and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. So first off, you know it’s going to be good for you… definitely with all the talk of antioxidants (supposedly twice the strength of that in orange juice), and 100% organic juice with no added sugar is always a plus. They also chuck in 100% vitamin C as well, so you can doubly skip the OJ.
Some people just aren’t big fans of the Concord and similar dark varieties of grape juice. I suspect it has something to do with bad memories from artificially flavored “grape” candies and sodas. Those things are about as far away from pleasant tasting grape juice as you can get.
The Welch’s Organic Grape Juice has a great mouthfeel and is very tasty indeed. You’re going to pay a bit of a premium but it’s well worth it. That deep grape flavor is very robust and you might even need to dilute this a bit if you like your juice a little less intense.
In case straight up concord grape is not your thing when it comes to juice, they also have numerous other blends of white grape juice including peach, raspberry, cherry and strawberry. They also have “lighter” juice blend cocktails made w/ Splenda as well as sparkling carbonated juices.
Juicing Basics Rating: 8 out of 10
Approximate Price: $3-4 for 46 fl. oz.

I am on a strict tonic diet for cancer prevention. I am to drink welch’s grape juice, but the amount I am to drink has caused diarhea. I would like to switch to the grape white cherry, but notethat it has a vegetable juice coloring. If this is a preservative or has tomato juice in it, then I cannot drink it. The grape juice is all natural ingredients? Could you explain the vegetable juice coloring?

Am trying to find nutrition information for your tomato juice on the net, but could not. Can you please advise?
Thank you.
