I talked a bit about one of my favorite cards in the OSS (Old School Spotlight), the simply titled Fork. This is one of the first rares that I ever received for Magic the Gathering. A lot of uses for this card, an hilarity often ensued when opponents Forked each others Forks and then Counterspelled each others Forks. Or Forked each others Counterspells. You get the idea.

Greets, first time visitor to the site and I gotta say..I’m glad I found it. I remember some great Fork Fights back in the day. Back when Fork was a staple in any burn deck. There as a game shop I used to frequent and though I wasn’t there at the time, there is a story about a 5 fork battle. Apparently it started with a simple fireball + fork combo that escalated to a second fireball, which was forked once or twice then a counterspell that was also forked more than once. Three forks by one player and two by another. It was one of those great battles that seemed to have died over time along with all the great old war stories of MtG.
