Wine Gift Bags • 12/30/05

If you’re like me, there’s a good chance you’re planning on attending some sort of New Year’s Party in a few days. It’s common courtesy not to show up completely empty handed at these shindigs, so a large majority of the adults opt to bring along …

Sharpie Paint Markers • 12/26/05

Nearly everyone has used a Sharpie Marker at one time or another. These handy pens set the standard for fade and water resistant, quick-drying ink and for writing on those difficult-to-mark, smoother surfaces.

Here’s an example of one of their correspondence cards, called Bells of the Forest. The card is 5 1/2 inches with a fold at top and has an included envelope. What I like about their style is that the cards are unique enough (at least from what’s frequently offered at chain stores) but aren’t so DIY looking that you can only use them for casual applications. These cards are $3.00 each.

Mulberry Paper • 12/6/05

Mulberry Paper is an increasingly popular textured type of paper that is often used by today’s scrapbookers to provide a feathery and fuzzy embellishment to their projects. I’ve seen it called Unryu paper(?) as well as interchanged with Rice paper but most places also say that …
