Everyone knows about Andy Warhol, the famous and innovative artist. Whether it’s soup cans or Marilyn Monroe his work as both an artist and filmmaker are unparalleled in modern design.
So it was kind of cool to see that Chronicle Books actually has a Warhol Mix n Match Stationery Set that features his work. This 16 sheet stationery package (includes 4 each of 4 envelope designs) was actually published in 2004 in conjunction with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and the Andy Warhol Museum.
The playful illustrations include his depictions of high-heeled shoes, lips and fashion models wearing dresses. There are cool clear stickers as well, featuring purses, lips, shoes and buttons.
