First clue with actual writing on it. It’s a bit hard to see but it says “Unicom 1230″ I’m crossing my fingers that it’s obscure enough looking that people won’t have found it already. I believe it’s actually easier to find than the 6/10 difficulty listed, but I thought I’d give it a higher rating because it can only be seen at maximum magnification of 15/15 on the satellite maps. I’m still trying to get the hang of how hard it is to actually find these clues so bear with me regarding the Difficulty ratings.

This is at the Hemet-Ryan Airport North of Diamond Valley Lake, and South West of San Jacinto and Hemet.
“UNICOM 1230″ is telling pilots using this airfield to maintain communications with the UNICOM communications system on frequency 1230. UNICOM is a privately controlled system for communicating at airports without a central controller/tower. As you can see from scanning the airfield there is no tower structure to guide and control air traffic.

Actually I think it’s “UNICOM 123.0″ since UNICOM frequency are around the range of 120 Mhz.
