Thanks everyone for the huge explosion of interest lately and the feedback. Special thanks go to GorillaMask for the link.

First, I’m going to make it so comments are held in moderation … this is because I don’t want the solution to accidently appear underneath the clue in a comment and thus spoil the search for other people. So I’ll hold all the comments that pertain to a solution until I get a chance to post the solution.

In addition, I’m going to start listing the first 5 people who solved a clue instead of just the one. This is because due to time delays on the server, email problems, etc, it’s too difficult to determine who the exact first person to solve it is. I’ll list your name of choice and link to your website if you’d like.

The general consensus seems to be that the clues are easier than I thought. I still think this probably all depends on where you live too. Nevertheless, I guess I’ll try increase the difficulty of the clues… I mean I don’t want to make them TOO hard and thus not any fun to find. Also, feel free to submit a clue if you want to. I’ll start putting up reader clues soon as I can sort through them.

For solutions to clues, please make sure to “test” them out (paste the URL into your browser and check it.) This is because a lot of times Google maps tack on a lot of other stuff to the URL, especially if you’ve done a search previously. This can cause the solution to not show up in the resulting URL. Actually, some people are even wondering how to grab the exact link. In Google Maps, to grab the link of a page, under “Map - Satellite” and next to “Print - Email” you will see a “Link to this Page”. Right click on that and “Copy Link Location”. Paste it in, and you’re done.

One last thing, I am on the West Coast so if you post a solution at 7 am eastern time, I probably won’t get to it for another 5 hours or so!
