All things cute, all things sassy, all things twee

In our age of e-This and i-That, the art of letter writing is truly a lost art. I have fond memories of going to the local bookstore and staying in the stationery aisle forever, admiring the beautifully printed quality paper and wishing I would be able to afford them all. I remember saving my favorite stationery for “special” occasions and using my best pen to write letters to dear friends.

I was quite happy when I stumbled upon Sushi-nery: Mix and Match Stationery while surfing on Amazon.com. The writing paper and envelopes are printed with pastel-colored sushi and sashimi. How adorable is that?! Amazon also has other Mix and Match sets available, but this one is by far my absolute favorite. Time to dust off my favorite pen!

Delias Dotty Belt is just the perfect little item to add a bit of “pop” to a pair of shorts and little tanktop. Made with grosgrain ribbon and D rings, it is a classy casual belt gone bright and whimsical. Reversible from rainbow multi-stripes to bright orange with white polka dots, it’s a must-have for the summer.

Crate and Barrel is one if my favorite places to shop for houseware. Unlike other nationwide houseware chain stores, Crate and Barrel designs are not only durable, but whimsical and eye-catching. This summer, the new Dot Dot Dot acrylic drinkware have totally caught my attention. With their rich bright colors and simple lines, these tumblers are a pleasure to use and behold. At only $2.95 a tumbler, you can get several of each color and get a ton of compliments from all your summer party guests.

I am on a green kick lately. Anything lime, mint, celadon has been catching my attention. I found these adorable Alisa skimmers by NaNa while surfing Zappos.com one day!

Kate Spade’s designs are always classy with a touch of cute, and the Cleo Shoulder Bag is no exception. It’s a very clean and minimal design without sacrificing style. Italian-made, the fresh green leather bag with contrasting topstitching in white is signature Kate Spade style, and the little decorative knot on top of the strap is a nice little detail. The bright green says, “spring is here!” It’s the perfect little bag for a casual day out.

All girls love floral prints, and J.Crew’s new summer flats are just perfect for those sassy garden parties! Lucy gazebo floral flats and Lucy garden print flats are Italian-made, with printed cotton canvas upper, leather footbed, lining, and sole with rubber tip at toe. The grosgrain bow adds more sweetness.

I used to love shopping at Esprit stores and was quite disappointed when they decided to close their stores across the country. Esprit fans would be happy to know there is an Esprit e-Shop, and all their clothing are just a few clicks away (shoes and accessories will be available soon). While browsing the e-Shop, this Beads Top caught my eye. It’s a classy v-neck top that is flattering to all figure types, yet it is a bit sheer and has great beaded details. Perfect to dress up a pair of jeans and pointy-toed kitten heels for a casual look, or a simple, classy a-line skirt for a dressy night out. Just add a drop necklace to finish the perfect outfit.
