All things cute, all things sassy, all things twee

I’ve been invited to not one, not two, but three weddings this summer and early fall. So now I have a great excuse to be on the lookout for cute dresses (and of course, matching shoes and hangbags) I can wear to casual weddings and outings too.

This adorable Bee Balm dress by Anthropologie caught my eye tonight because of the sweet buttery yellow with the lovely garden print. The design is simple, elegant and classy with its flattering boatneck and a-line skirt. The fresh apple-green self-tie belt makes it cute and sweet. I’d wear the dress with some chunky dangly earrings, a pair of apple green wedges or pink pointy-toed mules to spice it up a bit. The material is made of ramie (cool, comfortable and less wrinkling with a subtle lustre) and machine washable. One of the weddings I’m going to will be in a garden outdoors and this dress will be so very perfect!

It just happens to be on sale, too. How could I resist?

Created by Portland musician Rebecca Pearcy in 1996, Queen Bee makes the cutest accessories out of colorful vinyl and clever stitching.
